Recorded at ICTUS Studio in Pistoia (Italy) this album presents two master percussionists creating an exciting sonic landscape with a new original approach to an enlarged drum set rich in gongs, cymbals and all percussion paraphernalia. Andrea was master designer at UFIP and Pierre was artist consultant at Paiste. The 2 sets could hardly fit in the studio! And the result was musically astonishing.
The previously unreleased last track of this album was recorded at a percussion workshop where the two masters were supported in their improvisations by the buzzing sound of 20 pair of students' sticks rolling on the concrete floor.
