The musical journey of three voyagers into the universe of free improvisation, musical European traditions, jazz avant-guard, ambient and post-electric Miles.

To compose or to play is like writing on a "tabula rasa" (clean slate) where I draw sounds, emotions and create intimate relationships with my partners.
(Guido Mazzon)

I always consider myself a composer using percussion and keyboards as one of many means I'm using (orchestra included) to give life to my music. That's why in an album making, the conceiving before ad the editing after are so important to me.
(Andrea Centazzo)

Long awaited, never before published live chronicles of legendary Kondo / Chadbourne / Centazzo 1979 Italian tour. The document of the time, the music, and one of the direction of the improvised art form in late 70s.

Recorded live in concert, with the clarinet legend Perry Robinson and the up-and-coming Japanese pianist Nobu Stowe, the album not only stands as one of the newly recorded ICTUS productions but also states the beginning of a new creative path for Andrea Centazzo.

The collaboration between Andrea Centazzo and Lol Coxhill lasted few years and saw mainly the two playing in duo or with the trumpeter Franz Koglmann. All materials were recorded live in Vienna and Innsbruck in Austria in 1979 and 1983.

Centazzo was also performing few duo concerts with Koglmann and this CD presents tracks in the 3 combinations. All materials were recorded live in Vienna, Innsbruck and Bologna. Hard core of the CD is the Vienna Bosendorfer Saal Concert, one of the best, if not the best, of this trio.

The collaboration between Andrea Centazzo and Lol Coxhill lasted few years and saw mainly in 3 different combination the two playing in duo or with trombonist Giancarlo Schiaffini or with the trumpeter Franz Koglmann. In 1987 Coxhill, Centazzo and Schiaffini met in Pistoia for a recording session that originated the LP MOOT.

Gianluigi Trovesi is one of the most respected Jazz musicians of our time: he recorded extensively for ECM, ENJA and other major labels in different combinations with the best Jazz players in the world. SHOCK was recorded in 1983 followed by a concert tour and many other recordings in different combinations

Noboru Jones Experience
ICTUS 703

Noboru Jones, a native Californian, is one of the most remarkable new voices rising from the underground Los Angeles contemporary scenes. This state of the art jazz recording is a cross over of ECM-style jazz, improvised music and world music with a taste of new age on the top. Dream-like atmospheres in the typical contemporary digital sound.
